I started Meherbaa in 2023 while living in Boston. I was constantly searching for high-quality, stylish South Asian wear that didn’t feel overpriced or outdated — and realized there was a massive gap in the global market. Despite the size of the South Asian diaspora, designers from the region had barely made their mark internationally, even though they were creating everything from modern silhouettes to Indo-fusion to traditional wear. That realization turned into a mission: to bring South Asia to the world, one thoughtfully curated piece at a time.

I have loved fashion for as long as I remember — taking my mom’s old sarees and draping them in different ways, spending hours deciding perfect colour combinations and obsessing over every article of clothing my family wore to every event. Meherbaa is an extension of that lifelong passion, driven by my love for how South Asian designers weave traditional artistry into modern silhouettes and everyday wear. As a major foodie and traveler, I spend my time discovering new designers, building relationships with artisans, and learning the stories behind their work. For me, Meherbaa isn’t just about clothes — it’s about culture, creativity, and creating a more meaningful connection between local makers and global audiences.
